About the Journal
alBIRUNI Journal of Islamic Education and Socio-Cultural Studies (BJIES) is a peer–reviewed academic journal published by Darul Faza Mularouz Foundation. This journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to publish their scholarly works focusing on Islamic education, socio–cultural issues, and Islamic economics.
BJIES accepts original research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers related (but not limited) to:
- Teaching, learning, and pedagogy in Islamic education
- Curriculum development and assessment
- Pesantren, madrasah, and community-based education
- Educational leadership and policy
- Socio-cultural identity, media, and literacy in education
- Socio–cultural issues in Muslim communities
- Comparative studies of religion, culture and education
- Islamic economics, finance, and entrepreneurship in educational and social contexts
- Integration of Islamic values in contemporary education and society
The journal is published twice a year (January and July) and is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and quality. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer–review process before publication.
